An estate in a changing world

The end of the First World War saw a gradual return, at least outwardly, to the estate of the Edwardian era. Sir George and Lady Cooper continued to move with the seasons both meteorological and social, between their London house, Hursley and their estates in Scotland. Improvements to the House and Grounds continued to be made and the paternal relationship between The Mansion House and the village was still strong. However, the world was changing and Hursley was changing with it, willingly or not.
